I downloaded google drive and copied picasa and pictures to the drive. Now I can’t get them in Picasa on my PC and want to just get rid of Google Drive from my cloud and my pc and get my pictures back in Picasa. Help Please. I have been dealing with this for a couple of days and haven’t received helpful suggestions on the Google drive forums on google. Thanks!
Hi Molly, as per now, there are no apps which would allow you to directly send those pictures to Picasa. But here’s one method which I would like you to give it a try.
As you said those pictures are now stored in Google Drive, if they are synched to your PC too, then go to your Google Drive folder on your PC(C:\Users\home\Google Drive), there you’ll find all your pictures.
Copy all your pictures from there. And paste them anywhere else on your PC or in this folder(C:\Users\home\Pictures) to be precise.
Open Picasa on your system and search or locate those copied pictures and upload it to your Picasa web account. Hope it helps
If you want to get rid of Google Drive, then simply uninstall the Google Drive App from your computer system.
Hey
I too have a recent issue with Google Drive. It doesn’t refresh on my Android phone. If I press Refresh…it does nothing. I already installed it, it worked at the beginning and then again stopped refreshing the files. And it doesn’t show my actual files list in my Google Drive folder. I’ve searched the google support, nothing there about it. Maybe you could help me.
Hi, try re-installing the Google Drive App.
Nevermind…It came back…I don’t know what I did
But now works again. Sorry.
